The inspiration behind Advent at the Forest Festival Area was the authentic works of the Strasser Singers, who introduced the song, "silent Night - Holy Night" to international audiences many, many years ago.The atmosphere at the Forest Festival Area feels like a sign from heaven that people feel in their hearts in the busy run up to Christmas

For this reason, a major part of the Advent programme is a musical at the Europahaus, which represents the lives and experiences of the Strasser Singers and how they introduced the song “Silent night – Holy night” to the rest of the world.

Nativity exhibitions, church concerts, Advent songs and many local customs, such as „Klöpfelsingen – carol singing“ round off the cultural offerings provided at the Forest Festival Area.
