Forest Festival Area
A place of calm and tranquility
It"s only a short walk through the romantic "Scheuling Forest" to the Forest Festival Area. A beautiful spot surrounded by rustic log cabins with an outdoor theatre/concert stage. The cabins are furnished with comfortable seating, as well as warm blankets to snuggle up in. No electric lights - just candle light and a roaring open fire complete the charming natural atmosphere. "We switch off the power so you can switch off from life" is the simple maxim at the Forest Festival Area.
Advent is celebrated at the Forest Festival Area every Friday and Saturday during all weekends in Advent as well as on the 8th December from 17.00 to 21.00 hrs

- Official openeing of Mayrhofen's 2nd Advent
Saturday, 3rd December 2011
- 17.30 hrs St. Nicholas procession (children aged from 6-15 years and accompanied by their parents are allowed to use the Zillertaler Verkehrsbetriebe AG public bus services to and from Mayrhofen free of charge!)
Friday, 16th December 2011
- 18.00 hrs Benefit auction of the „Christmas trees decorated by children"
Saturday, 17th December 2011
- 17.15 hrs Christmas procession followed by festive celebrations
